Although you might not consider Peru as a beach destination and rather a trekker’s paradise, you might be surprised to see some gorgeous beaches throughout Peru’s coast.
In Lima, there are a few beaches that are a surfer’s paradise but can be enjoyed by sunbathers. However, the favorite beaches in Lima are just an hour south of the city at Punta Hermosa, a fun-loving beach town, filled with beachgoers.
Further south you can see the beautiful beaches in Paracas, like the red beach, which is protected by a national reserve. Or travel all the way north to Mancora where you will find sun all-year-round and enjoy in a beachfront resort. Sounds nice, doesn’t it?
