What were the reasons for this election by Architectural Digest Magazine?

Peru continues to captivate travelers from all over the world. That’s why it appears, in a commendable seventh place and as the only Latin American representative, on a list of the 21 most beautiful countries in the world, compiled by the prestigious international magazine Architectural Digest.
In an article titled “The 21 Most Beautiful Countries in the World,” the American magazine Architectural Digest highlights that, globally, Peru captivates tourists worldwide thanks to the beauty of its natural landscapes and emblematic sites such as the ancient citadel of Machupicchu, the ultimate expression of Inca architecture and engineering. Also because of its fascinating Sacred Valley of the Incas, both located in the department of Cusco.
Machupicchu, Peru’s flagship tourist attraction, a World Heritage Site and a world wonder, radiates a powerful attraction to travelers from around the world and motivates them to return more than once.
They come back to appreciate not only the formidable and unique stone monument built on the summit of a steep mountain, but also the splendid natural landscape, a hinge between the Andes and the Amazon, that surrounds it.
