The Aymara Route involves getting used to the geography, the communities, nature, and privileged view in the Chucuito peninsula, and the neighboring town of Acora. We will go deep into pre-Inca times, into legends and stories your guide will provide, and we will learn about the significance of Lake Titicaca in the local world view and livelihoods. You will meet first-hand with the unique connection (still alive today) between men and nature. You will go through winding roads by bike, through fields and meadows with exceptional views of natural lookouts, enjoying the vastness of Lake Titicaca. As part of this excursion, you will see country houses of the locals who participate in their daily chores, birds in their ecosystem, archaeological sites and amazing landscapes. On the road, we will stop to enjoy an especially prepared lunch in the company of the lake and its wonderful views.
