Peru gets six nominations at 2021 World Travel Awards

Peru has been nominated in six World categories of the prestigious 2021 World Travel Awards (WTA), the country’s Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) announced last week.

“The above-mentioned categories fill us with pride as they reaffirm our tourism positioning in the world as a destination with enormous cultural and natural wealth,” PromPeru said in a statement.

World Travel Awards has opened voting for the prestigious World categories of its 2021 program. Voting is now open and runs until 24th October 2021. 

Nominees feature the winners of WTA’s regional categories (Europe, Asia, Oceania, Middle East, South America, Central America, North America, Africa, Indian Ocean & Caribbean) going head-to-head for the highest accolade in the industry.

According to the WTA’s website, the winners will be unveiled at WTA’s Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2021, which will take place in Moscow, Russia on 26th November 2021.

“With voting now open for our World categories, it is time to make your voice heard by voting for the organizations that are raising the bar of travel excellence. WTA is regarded as the highest accolade in the industry, and your vote can really make a difference,” said Graham Cooke, founder of the WTA.
